The sticky bomb launcher still mains the bonus damage based off of current health, meaning it is better vs high health targets

  • This robot offered very little counter play to be picked given the mobility and damage burst output. Lowering the damage ensures that a medic dies in 3 swings instead of 2. This change is give human medics more chances to escape or fight back. A shield mini-crit swing and normal swing will still two shot a medic, meaning now you have to land a charge to guarantee a two or one hit kill. Given how the other melee robots don't really compare the health was reduced to compensate for the mobility it has compared to the other options.

Back Scatter + Added: + On Crit / Mini-crit Hit: Gain between +10 to +90% reload speed bonus for 2 seconds. Amount scales on damage dealt. + Back Scatter remains a fairly weak weapon even with the accuracy bonus removed, since it relies on factors you can't control to do well. With this change, it will create some new synergies and have higher highs and lower lows compared to before, while still not outshining the other unlocks (hopefully)

• Having played a lot of League of Legends lately, I found the Balance aspect of getting permanently stronger the more you kill your opponent to be a great way of balancing a game. So this has been implemented here. You can now sap players with the sapper to stun them, making it easier to land hits for your teammates. This also adds a lot of customizability to your class, where you can focus on stats you normally couldn't. This should also help reduce stalemates, as the winning team will just win more!

• This update aims to give some robots better individual performance, as many of the bots getting buffs are reliant on their team too much in order to be good.
• We've seen from play sessions that at certain player counts, many robots are simply too weak and can't fight humans, this patch aims to give them some more omf.

This was an issue primarily on defense, where some beefy robots would tank a lot, then walk back in to spawn right before death, switch robots back and forth then have full health again.
  • This means if you are a scout bot with 1500hp, and you take 100 damage, then switch to a heavy, the heavy will spawn with 1400 hp instead of 4000 hp

Bmod 2.0 status, Ranking Seasons and Manned Machines release trailer.

BMOD

Regarding BMOD 2.0 it's done as is. From our play sessions no further weapons need any tweaking or rebalances to remain viable in what it's designed to be good at. With the launch of our website, we will launch the first season of Bmod, as we are currently in season 0. This means that the leaderboard will be saved and stored as a page where you can forever bask in your glorious achievements. And others will have a chance to prove themselves as the best player in the future sessions, as seasons will be roughly 3 months. With a leader board storing everything with each one. Will be more info on that later when it's close to being ready

MANNED MACHINES

After being able to fix up Manned Machines after the 64 bit update broke us, we are continuing to develop the mod and balance it as we continue with our sessions. I'm very proud of the community we've built so far, we are a great gang of epic players which is always a blast to play with.

Right now I am working on the Manned Machines release trailer, we have a banger theme song and will need some banger footage to go with it!

Moonly Days, the creator behind Creators.TF and helper of many small things on our project has said he has an interest in helping us out. So hopefully he can get in to the back end of things and do some optimizations so that I can focus on the balance and getting the wiki out to you.

OH YEAH! We have an auto updating wiki now which I made as a data engineer and I am super duper proud of. Check it out here. I spent many an hour making it so that it automatically generates the wikipedia pages based on what the stats are ingame. You might say it's pretty pog.

  • Changed:
    • Reduced bomb count from 6 to 5
    • Increased cluster bomb base damage from 200 to 250
      • The damage is way less than this in game due to how projectile dmg scaling works

    • Reduced health from 3000 to 1500 to compensate for new health scaling

    • Hammerhead's speed combined with accurate damage output has been very good, with very few players actually playing the bot. Reducing these stat should help with fighting the bot as the bot needs to be a bit closer and is way less effective vs buildings. Where in the past the overall DPS made it not matter

  • With the no flinch buff, this robot has been very oppressive, as it was basically Call of Duty on steroids in TF2, these changes is to make him stay in a spot that is between scoping and noscoping sniper
